Hi everyone,

We are just past mid-season, and we are hearing excellent things from parents, coaches and players about how everyone is doing this season. SMSA is all about player development, as everyone knows, so it is great to see the players really get stuck into learning the sport and honing their skills!

A few announcements:

CHICKENDAZE FLOAT!

Yep, once again SMSA will be having a float in the Chickendaze parade, so it’s time for anyone and everyone with a Heat jersey to come out (including parents)!

• Meet in the CO-OP parking lot along the road to the RM building around 10:00am on Saturday, 15 June 2019, before the parade in your team jersey!
• If you are available to help out in decorating this year’s float on Friday night, June 14th, please let us know (springfieldminorsoftball@gmail.com)!  
• Dress for the elements!
• Water bottles will be available on the float
• Parents – you are welcome to join us – especially LTP parents. (not mandatory though)
• Coaches and bench staff, if available, we would love to have you on the float!

2019 AWARDS BANQUET

Please join us for our annual end of season AWARDS BANQUET at the Dugald Community Club on Saturday, 14 September 2019!
